摘要: The use of heavier trucks demanded shear strengthening a twenty-seven year old bridge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Shear the prestressed concrete girders using Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) sheets provides low-cost solution by increasing speed construction and reducing traffic interruption when compared with conventional methods. Due to lack information on CFRP for I-shaped AASHTO girders, an experimental program has been undertaken at University Manitoba. Four ten meter long scale model have tested failure both ends, six configurations three types CFRP. contribution enhanced capacity girder examined emphasis effect this particular shape.
