The Process of Spiritual Care in Rehabilitation of Cancer Patients: A grounded theory study

摘要: Background and Objective: spiritual care is considered as a part of the holistic rehabilitation specialists put much emphasis on paying attention to needs in cancer patients. The present study aimed explain process patients. Materials Method: This grounded theory was done 2012 one hospitals Tehran. participants were 28 people, including patients (11) their families (7), oncology nurses (6), physician (1), psychologists (2) clergy man (1). At first, purposeful sampling used then, according emerged codes categories, theoretical employed. Data gathering through individual semi-structured interview, observation, writing field notes using documentation. analyzed by Strauss Corbin's approach. Results: analysis led emerging 4 main categories helplessness, seeking for support, attaining relatively sense well-being effective factors care. 'Need support' identified core concept research. Conclusion: support caregivers (family nurses) alongside patients, forming team physician, nurse, social worker, psychologist clergyman essential.
