摘要: Background : Physical and psychological stresses produced by diagnosis treatment of cancer can lead to positive changes or posttraumatic growth. The aim current study is assess growth its dimensions in Iranian patients with cancer, the impact demographic characteristics on Methods This was a descriptive 452 who referred oncology wards two main hospitals Tehran, Iran. instruments were Demographic Characteristics Scale Posttraumatic Growth Inventory. SPSS version 15 used analyze data. Results mean age participants 46.2±14.2 years, 59% female 39% had metastatic cancer. PTGI score 68.6±14.6. most acquired percentage for "spiritual changes" "communication others". Age, educational status, income, type significant correlation score. Conclusion findings indicated that higher than Western societies. improvement seen dimension.
