摘要: Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) causes significant physical, social, psychological, and emotional stress in patients with leukemia. This qualitative study using semi-structured interviews explored the coping strategies of 10 adults acute leukemia who were undergoing this form treatment units a major hospital Tehran, Iran, from 2009 to 2010. A content analysis identified eight themes 13 subthemes that described participants' strategies. The were: attribution, denial avoidance, connection divine purpose, organizing treatment, seeking social support, modifying, reflection, patience resignation. deeper understanding are used by HSCT can help healthcare providers encourage use likely be more effective. Such also achieve greater sense empowerment.
