Evaluation of the spiritual health of cancer patients and their nurses in Iran

摘要: Background and Purpose: Cancer is associated with significant changes in the lifestyle of patients. Spiritual well-being has been shown to be an inherent element health, quality life, increased survival rate, enhanced adaptability cancer patients disease. This study aimed evaluate spiritual health their nurses. Methods: descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional was conducted on 60 hospitalized nurses hospitals affiliated Urmia University Medical Sciences, Iran during March-October 2014. Participants were selected via accident sampling, data collected using Well-being Scale (SWBS). Data analysis performed SPSS version 16 descriptive statistics, Chi-square T-test. Results: In patients, mean scores religious, existential 52±2.32, 46±1.23 99±3.73, respectively. studied nurses, these 29±4.43, 40±1.17 70±4.02, A difference observed between (P=0.001).
