摘要: Abstract Sr-substituted samples of Y-type hexagonal ferrites with chemical formula Ba 2− x Sr Ni 2 Fe 12 O 22 ( = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0) were synthesized using the sol–gel autocombustion method and sintered at 1150 °C for 3 h. The investigated by differential thermal thermogravimetry analysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy vibrating sample magnetometry. diffraction analysis reveals that single phase can be achieved substituting 2+ ions sites in ferrites. density bulk observed to decrease whereas porosity increased increasing Sr-concentration. All show well defined shape which is favorable microwave absorbing purposes. saturation magnetization values calculated from M–H loops law approach saturation. low coercivity a few hundred oersteds one necessary conditions electromagnetic (EM) materials suitable security, switching, sensing high frequency applications.
