摘要: This work aimed to investigate the economical and environmental viability of alcohol production from cassava root 2002 2013 using genetic algorithms technique, a meta-heuristic technique inspired on biological natural selection process. Amylases Aspergillus niger have been used in starch hydrolysis processes Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast fermentation The carbon credits obtained biomass residues were reduce cost production. occurred at temperatures ranging 30 60 °C, with concentrations 8.0 22 g/L. Results showed best conditions for 23.4 g/L, 61.9 °C 111.0 min, where an yield 84% was achieved. In this condition, though presence yeast, is close 100% ethanol 88%, after An between 0.04 0.62 US$/L has found studied period. addition, company acquires 7.8 billion credits, environment friendly, improves its image society. show that optimization could be useful improvement industrial
