摘要: The effects of nitrogen implantation to doses as high 1 × 1019ions/cm2 on the sliding wear resistance and concentration depth profiles are examined experimentally. By maintaining proper temperature, increases in dose induce formation thicker nitrogen-rich, wear-resistant layers. Several microns thick layers demonstrated for both iron stainless steel.
