Analysis of W-slot loaded patch antenna for dualband operation

摘要: Abstract In the present paper W-slot loaded single and two dielectric layers microstrip patch antenna has been analysed using equivalent circuit concept. The shows dual resonance. resonance frequency of layer is found to be 2.91 GHz 3.88 GHz which increases for up 4.17 GHz 5.78 GHz respectively. ratio 1.33 1.38 antenna. general depend on slot length, width angle. bandwidth 1.71% 1.68% lower upper while it 5.28% 2.77%. theoretical results are compared with simulated obtained from IE3D both in close agreement.
