摘要: An abiding issue in cavitation science is the focusing of energy by collapse a gas bubble water. In particular, one would like to understand origin flash light ('sonoluminescence') that accompanies collapse1. Hilgenfeldt et al.2 have presented simple explanation for this emission, based on hydrodynamic (Rayleigh–Plesset) analysis dynamics. Here we argue their model too simple, grounds it cannot account some well-established observations and involves application equation outside its range validity.
