摘要: A 3½-month-old female Wirehaired Fox Terrier was referred for diagnosis and treatment of a congenital heart disease. Examination revealed pan-systolic murmur cyanotic mucous membranes. tentative tetralogy Fallot confirmed by radiographs, ECG, cardiac catheteriza-tion, angiograms. End-to-side anastomosis the left subclavian artery to pulmonary (the palliative Blalock shunt), performed when patient 7 months old, provided remission clinical signs 1 ½ years. Physical stress then recurred animal died. Post-mortem examination classic anatomy evidence that shunt, which had remained patent 1½ years, closed, causing death animal.
