摘要: Primordial nucleosynthesis is reexamined in the context of a detailed comparison theory and observation. A new argument presented to show how observed abundances D /sup 3/He can be used derive lower bound nucleon density. In concert with previously known upper from alone, we define conservative (''safe bet'') range for nucleon-to-photon ratio: eta = (3-10) x 10/sup -10/. New observations 7/Li are consistent help us sto reasonable (''best range: (4-7) either these ranges predicted D, 3/He, re all concordance. The bounds correspond ..cap omega../sub N/ or =0.24 if N/sub v/> =3 tau/sub 1/2/> =10.4 minutes.« less
