摘要: Azimuthal variations in the refractive index that are inherent CO2-laser-induced long-period fiber gratings (LPFG’s) coupled to small controlled flexure of LPFG produce a wide variety transmission characteristics as function curvature. The particularly useful cases (1) wavelength tuning at constant attenuation and (2) variable (switching) demonstrated by flexing LPFG’s have been appropriately axially rotationally oriented relative plane
