摘要: Background: The Multi-attribute Arthritis Prioritisation Tool (MAPT) score is used as a tool to prioritize referrals specialist clinics and care given patients with hip knee problems. Our pilot study aimed determine the extent of any relationship between MAPT scores clinician's assessment severity disease in terms surgical waiting list (SWL) categories radiological assessment. Methods: This retrospective symptomatic or osteoarthritis (OA) that were referred via orthopaedic project January July 2009 Bendigo Health's outpatients clinic waitlisted for total replacement (THR)/total (TKR). was calculated Surgical waitlist Category obtained from booking office. radiographs all these reviewed graded independently according Kellgren Lawrence radiographic grading arthritis. relationships score, SWL category grades examined using graphical methods Kendall's tau correlation coefficients. Results: There 62 study. Kendall-tau sample coefficient grade τb=−0.091 (P= 0.330) τb= 0.007 0.951). Conclusions: data suggests there no significant OA, OA THR/TKR.
