摘要: Abstract The Biofuels Directive sets reference values for the quantity of biofuels and other renewable fuels to be placed on transport market. Biogas from agricultural crops can used meet this directive. This paper investigates biogas production three crop rotations: wheat, barley sugar beet; wheat only. A technical economic analysis each rotation was carried out. It found that produces significantly more than either or beet, when examined a weight basis. However beet subsequently energy an area When producing biofuels, land is limiting factor may produced. Thus if optimising then should utilised, as scenario produced greatest energy. has cost €0.90/mN3, therefore, competitive with petrol price at least €1.09/l (VAT charged 21%). If costs only utilised grain less €132/ton. €0.83/mN3, €1.00/l. But biogas, it also In comparing works by authors shown biomethane system same cheaper ethanol system.
