摘要: Malignant neoplasms of small intestine are uncommon and account for less than 0.3 % all gastrointestinal tract malignancies [1]. Despite the fact that accounts 75 tract, metastasis to bowel is also rare has been reported in only 2 autopsies [2, 3]. Most metastases originate from melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, genitourinary neoplasms, carcinoma cervix, thyroid merkel breast cancer, Kaposi’s sarcoma, lung cancer [3–8]. Accidental foreign body (FB) ingestion common. Although most cases occur pediatric populations, FB adults not [9]. Fortunately, approximately 90 time, objects pass through system without any complications [10]. However, if retained within digestive may become impacted can cause perforation, obstruction, bleeding. Additionally, an embedded trigger inflammation, which over time lead consequent malignant transformation local tissue [11–13]. The theory FB-induced carcinogenesis a focus extensive research decades. Turner subcutaneous implantation disks rats led formation sarcoma surrounding immediate vicinity [14]. Since then, numerous studies have linked inflammation [12]. other sites area with seldom reported. Here, we report case 75-year-old female history colon resected 5 years previously, whom was found metastatic duodenal diverticulum had there at least prior presentation.
