摘要: The paper presents an analysis of laminar motion a conducting liquid in rectangular duct under uniform transverse magnetic field. effects the having walls are investigated. Exact solutions obtained for two cases, (i) perfectly perpendicular to field and thin arbitrary conductivity parallel field, (ii) non-conducting boundary layers on studied case it is found that at high Hartmann number (M), large positive negative velocities order NV, induced, where V, velocity core. It suggested contrary previous assumptions may some cases have destabilizing effect flow ducts.
