摘要: This study argues that including aspects of user experience relevant to the user's knowledge a product's context-of-use in early stages product design can enhance usability. To explore these issues, research was undertaken respond three questions: (i) What influence people's understanding usability? (ii) is nature differences between users' and designers' understandings (iii) How human Findings from have shown experience, about usability are interrelated. Conceptual principles were established based on findings explain relationships areas concepts These responded first two questions. Causal found suggested need implement them an accessible manner for process. A tool -- named Experience Context Enquiry Design Tool (ECEDT) devised exemplify implementation findings. trial run verified type information ECEDT brings designers could assist address issues during result third question study. This study's conceptual contribute new theory practice. contributes providing greater detail users than addressed by existing theory; it practice as informs prompt use. In doing so, potentially products embed technological applications, support
