Observation on the parental investment by small-clawed otter in captivity

摘要: A study on the parental investment in small-clawed otter (Aonyx cinerea) was carried out at Malacca Zoo. total of 14 days observation conducted a family comprising an adult male, two females and newborn pup. The male contributed substantial amount time nest maintenance while were responsible for grooming training also spent more with compared to both females. Parental care is evident group non-breeding female contributing raising young.
