摘要: We have used two monoclonal antibodies (Mab) to the L3T4 antigen reexplore role of this molecule in process T cell activation. Both Mab (Gk1.5 and 2B6) were capable inhibiting Con A-induced IL 2 production by a number antigen-specific hybridomas an assay system that was free major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II antigen-bearing cells. The inhibition produced anti-L3T4 specific, because other surface antigens expressed on without inhibitory effects. These studies rule out possibility mechanism model is mediated blocking interaction with MHC products. Taken together, these results those groups investigators, are most compatible dual function for might first interact molecules or target accessory cells; would subsequently transmit signal regulate activation process. exert effects at one both steps.
