摘要: Genome-editing tools, and in particular those based on CRISPR-Cas (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR)-CRISPR-associated protein) systems, are accelerating the pace of biological research enabling targeted genetic interrogation almost any organism cell type. These tools have opened door to development new model systems for studying complexity nervous system, including animal models stem cell-derived vitro models. Precise efficient gene editing using has potential advance both basic translational neuroscience research.
