摘要: Mandibular condyle aplasia is a congenital or acquired malformation, which can be not associated to some head and neck syndromes. Its treatment involves either surgical approach more conservative with orthopedic functional appliances. This clinical report presents case of mandibular treated modified KLAMT appliance, after procedure failed stimulate remodelling. The successful results presented here, an approach, support appliances as alternative, producing similar those reported surgery. Therefore, are proposed valid alternative remodelling in patients aplasia. Treatment provided at early age appears relevant for result.
