摘要: Abstract Dynamic simulation of a Lurgi type industrial methanol reactor has been studied in the presence long term catalyst deactivation. The performance was investigated using two different dynamic models: (a) simple homogeneous model, and (b) heterogeneous model. models were validated against measured daily process data plant recorded for period four years. Good agreements achieved both found to predict almost identical results under operating conditions. high velocity reactant stream be most important reason this phenomenon. model represents useful tool simulation, optimization control synthesis. Introducing such reduces number typical states half, itself will significantly reduce level computation base estimators.
