摘要: The purpose of the study was to determine whether valid measures segment inertial properties can be generated from a series cross-sectional tissue scans using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). images for eight baboon cadaver segments (four forearms, two upper arms, and lower legs) were digitized yield areas muscle, bone, fat tissues. These data, along with density values, used calculations volume (V), (D), mass (M), center location (CM), moment inertia (Icm) about transverse axis through mass. Criterion these obtained standard experimental techniques. Close agreement found between criterion MRI values mean CM (44.67 vs. 43.36% proximal end, respectively) while D same (1.124 g·cm−3) both methods. procedures tended overestimate V(595.3 633.4 cm3), M(720.0 769.9 g), Icm(3.208 3.332 × 10−3 kg·m2). It concluded that represents promising technique generating characteristics as well other anatomical features.
