摘要: This review of the study “Road to Dawei”, conducted by WWF Greater Mekong, seeks assess economic, social and environmental impacts road construction between Kanchanaburi, Thailand Dawei, Myanmar. It also aims identify relevant Green Economy policy interventions that would enhance sustainable use conservation natural capital, which is considered be a foundation for inclusive economic development. In particular, concentrates on identification feedback loops, delays nonlinearity in order properly map socio-economic system analysed inform decision making. Results are presented three different scenarios both Myanmar Thailand. Simulation results show conventional approach likely have positive region, especially short term, but negative consequences integrity ecosystem, turn might negatively impact investment itself its outcomes medium longer term. Further, indicate green economy mitigate risks creating synergies across sectors, systemically.
