摘要: . Four methods are commonly used to study cell cycle processes in Paramecium tetraurelia. These include stage frequency analysis asynchronous cultures, hand selection of synchronous dividing cells, newly divided cells by elutriation centrifugation, and the sister method. We have compared timing resolution stages oral morphogenesis micronuclear mitosis with each The temporal obtainable method was inadequate position within cycle. Both hand-selected samples prone bias. Elutriation centrifuge synchronization provides large comparable that selected samples. is least bias when <5% parent culture selected.
