摘要: A comparison of the brain levels (microgram/g wet weight tissue) hallucinogen N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) and its deuterated analog alpha, beta, beta-tetradeutero-DMT (D4DMT) as a function time dose is reported. It was observed that presence deuterium in alpha- beta-positions ethylamine side-chain led to potentiation level DMT brain. Strikingly different dynamics uptake clearance were also noted. We propose these results are due primary kinetic isotope effect, illustrating importance alpha-position metabolism DMT.
