摘要: Abstract Fly-ash particles of a diameter smaller than 2 μ were collected from the electrostatic precipitator coal-fired power plant, and their cytotoxicity was studied in culture using alveolar macrophages healthy hypothyroid rats. The mortality rate secretion rates cytoplasmic (lactate dehydrogenase) lysosomal (acid phosphatase β-glucuronidase) enzymes into medium greater rats control macrophages. Electron microscopy showed retraction filapodia, loss ruffled membrane distortion cell shape These results demonstrate that fly-ash enhanced rats, indicate normal functions are impaired by changes thyroid status.
