Structural characterization and optical properties of Ca2MgSi2O7:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor by solid-state reaction method

摘要: Ca2MgSi2O7:Eu2+,Dy3+ phosphor was prepared by the solid-state reaction method under a weak reducing atmosphere. The obtained characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), field emission scanning (FESEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX) and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) techniques. phase structure of akermanite type, which is member melilite group. surface morphology sintered not uniform phosphors aggregated tightly. EDX FT-IR spectra confirm elements present in phosphor. Under UV excitation, broadband spectrum found. observed green region centered at 535 nm, due to 4f–5d transition. mechanoluminescence (ML) intensity increased linearly with increases mechanical load. ML were similar photoluminescence (PL), indicates that emitted from same emitting center Eu2+ ions as PL. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
