摘要: The cultivated potato (Solanum tuberosum) is a crop of considerable importance, ranking fourth in world production after wheat, rice and maize. It thus the most important dicotyledonous species, tuber crop. There are seven species potato, which range chromosome numbers from diploid (24 chromosomes) to triploid, tetraploid pentaploid. S. tuberosum subspecies normally regarded as widely grown; cultivation andigena restricted Andes region America. In addition there documented further 228 wild species. Thus wide gene pool genetic diversity (Hawkes, 1990).
