摘要: Species distribution models (SDM) are widely used in ecology, biogeography and conservation. Here, we modelled the of roe deer ( Capreolus capreolus ) mainland Spain order to i) determine its macro-ecological requirements, ii) assess favourability for this species iii) explore model usefulness as an index relative abundance. Our results showed that can be explained by predictors related with topography, climate, lithology, geography human activity. Climate was more relevant factor, followed activity, spatial location lithology. The accurately predicted probability occurrence also, but weakly, species’
