摘要: This work presents high throughput profile milling (HTPM) as a novel processing technique for prototyping stator and rotor laminates electric machines. Current techniques use the flexible processes of laser cutting abrasive waterjet (AWJ) machining to produce these prototypes. AWJ introduces less thermomechanical damage material than conventional therefore was selected benchmark process this study. paper an initial empirical comparison between HTPM process. The metrics incorporate post-processed magnetic properties, specifically, permeability specific core loss, manufacturing concerns, particularly production rate burr formation. A measureable difference loss recorded within sample set (AWJ at 3.08W/kg 3.12W/kg; 1350H/m 1335H/m respectively); however, further statistical analysis inconclusive generality results. Nevertheless, exhibited notable reduction in formation 198um 8um) almost 6.7x increase average 10.1mm/sec 68.4mm/sec). Consequently, exhibits significant advantages machine laminates.
