Effect of laser cutting on microstructure and on magnetic properties of grain non-oriented electrical steels

摘要: Non-oriented electrical steels have been cut with two different techniques, the laser cutting and mechanical cutting. In order to investigate effect of first technique on magnetic properties, parameters tested. Despite this, best properties obtained after The causes a coercive field increase permeability drop. Due thermal effect, internal stress seems be main process drawback. No correlation between heat affected zone has found.
