摘要: BACKGROUND Given the magnitude and speed of SARS-CoV-2 transmission, achieving timely effective manual contact tracing has been a challenging task. Early in pandemic, apps generated significant enthusiasm due to their potential for automating reducing transmission rates, while enabling targeted confinement strategies. However, surveys demonstrate public interest using such apps, actual uptake remains limited. Their social acceptability is challenged by issues around privacy, fairness, effectiveness, among other concerns. OBJECTIVE This study aimed (1) examine extent which design implementation considerations are detailed available literature, focusing on aspects related participatory responsible eHealth innovation, (2) synthesize recommendations that support development successful COVID-19 technologies. METHODS Searches were performed five databases articles selected based eligibility criteria. Papers pertaining design, and/or included. Articles published since 2019, written English or French full considered eligible analysis. To assess scope knowledge found current we used three complementary frameworks: Holistic Framework Improve Uptake Impact Technologies, Montreal Model (3) Responsible Innovation Health (RIH) Assessment Tool. RESULTS A total 63 qualified final Less than half cited need process (40%), nonetheless was most frequently referenced item Technologies. In regard Model, stakeholder consultation described level engagement (38%), collaboration partnership least (3%). As RIH framework, all (100%) addressed population health, whereas only 2% covered environmental considerations. CONCLUSIONS Most studies lacked fundamental implementation. Our results stakeholders lack important information be able critically appraise this innovation. may have contributed modest worldwide. We make evidence-informed regarding data management, communication, engagement, user experience strategies apps. CLINICALTRIAL
