摘要: Urban and rural areas often meet their water demands from a shared stock of finite resources. Against the changing climate, rising in fast-growing urban are leading to increasing water-use conflicts with co-dependent areas. Although poor governance is frequently cited as key reason for such urban–rural conflicts, it also recognized potential pathway resolve them. In case Nagpur Region Central India, stress has today become subject serious concern. The City primarily met through multipurpose Pench Dam on priority, but recently declining availability raised undue concerns irrigation command To substantiate limited understanding ongoing wider Metropolitan Area, this study analyzes specific set secondary data related history Project its utilization trends. By uncovering periodic decline irrigated area groundwater use irrigation, cross-sectoral transboundary implications transfer revealed. address these concerns, then suggests feasible strategies based benefit sharing multi-stakeholder engagement.
