摘要: We compared therapeutic benefits of intramyocardial injection unfractionated bone marrow cells (BMCs) versus BMC extract as treatments for myocardial infarction (MI), using closed-chest ultrasound-guided at a clinically relevant time post-MI. MI was induced in mice and the animals treated day 3 with either: (i) BMCs from green fluorescent protein (GFP)-expressing (n = 14), (ii) or (iii) saline control 14). Six per group were used histology 6 rest followed to 28 functional analysis. Ejection fraction similarly improved groups (40.6 ± 3.4 39.1 2.9% 33.2 5.0%, P < 0.05) smaller scar sizes. At but not 28, both therapies led significantly higher capillary area number arterioles control. 6, increased cycling cardiomyocytes (CMs) whereas therapy resulted significant reduction apoptotic CMs border zone (BZ) Intracellular components within can enhance vascularity, reduce infarct size, improve cardiac function, influence CM apoptosis early after following MI. Intact are necessary death implanted may be major component benefit.
