摘要: The enhancement of spontaneous radiative recombination C6+ ions with free electrons in a resonant laser field has been investigated at the Heidelberg cooler ring TSR for different transverse electron temperatures realized by adiabatically expanding magnetically guided beam. spectra close to ionization threshold strongly deviate from calculations independent electrons, showing important contributions energies below this threshold. Shape and relative size these change significantly as temperature is varied. These changes are not consistent expected behaviour sub-threshold due electric stray fields.
