摘要: The organisms covered in this chapter belong to a group of taxonomically and phylogenetically diverse, gram-negative nonfermentative rods coccobacilli. Still, several the genera dealt with same family; i.e., Acinetobacter, Moraxella, Oligella, Psychrobacter family Moraxellaceae(Gammaproteobacteria), Balneatrix, Bergeyella, Chryseobacterium, Elizabethkingia, Empedobacter, Myroides, Sphingobacterium, Wautersiella, Weeksella Flavobacteriaceae. Most described are found environment, soil water. only fastidious species handled Asaia species, Granulibacter bethesdensis, Methylobacterium some Moraxella species. limited number tests that have been used discriminate between selected because they can be carried out easily quickly, mostly yield uniform results per or also highly discriminatory. A recently developed method bacterial identification is matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization–time-of-flight mass spectrometry, for which commercial systems, spectrum databases, become available recently. Decisions about performing antimicrobial susceptibility testing complicated by fact Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) interpretive guidelines disk diffusion nonfermenting bacteria Pseudomonas Burkholderia cepacia, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Acinetobacter therefore, except do not include chapter.
