摘要: Self-report measures of both parents' expressed emotion, their time spent with children, family life events, and children's medication compliance were obtained from 32 pairs parents a 5- to 12-year-old child asthma used predict the number asthma-related medical contacts school absences in preceding year. Higher levels fathers' specifically critical comments, associated higher absenteeism, amount fathers reported spending children on weekends was inversely related times had an contact. These findings interpreted as reflecting father's reactions his child's asthma. Implications for intervention are discussed. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. J Clin Psychol 55: 573–584, 1999.
