摘要: Abstract This study was an attempt to replicate findings from previous work in our laboratory as well the relationship between vertex-referenced and linked mastoid-referenced responses under conditions purported produce differential hemispheric activation. Auditory evoked potentials were recorded T 4 -C z , 3 -A 1 A 2 task-irrelevant tone pips superimposed on a baseline condition two experimental (verbal music) hypothesized differentially activate areas of left right cerebral hemispheres. Significant AEP amplitude asymmetries obtained function ongoing tasks, replicating findings. Higher AEPs temporal-to-vertex leads hemisphere thought be most involved task. In addition, temporal-linked mastoids placements showed effect opposite that seen for with lower occurring activated by Mastoid-referenced also less sensitive task effects than placements.
