摘要: Abstract Purpose To prospectively compare the image quality and diagnostic performance of orbital MR images obtained by using a dual-source parallel transmission (pTX) 3D sequence (Sampling Perfection with Application optimized Contrasts different flip angle Evolution, SPACE) conventional high-resolution standard protocol for clinical use in patients at 3T. Materials methods After obtaining institutional review board approval patient consent, 32 indication MRI were examined sequences pTX SPACE sequences. Quantitative measurements, healthy orbit, incidence artifacts, subjective to establish diagnosis was rated. Statistical significance calculated Student's t -test nonparametric Wilcoxon signed rank test. Results Length measurements comparable two techniques, resulted significant faster acquisition higher spatial resolution less motion artifacts as well better delineation optic nerve sheath. However, estimated contrast-to-noise signal-to-noise overall scores TSE imaging rated significantly higher. The preferred techniques readers. Conclusion This study demonstrates feasibility orbit resulting rapid isotropic images. Although no pathology missed SPACE, showed confidence our study, presumably due ratios. We observed be technique, cannot replace so far.
