摘要: Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a pleiotropic inflammatory cytokine, also endowed with inflammation-inhibiting properties. The status of interleukin-10 (IL-10) as an anti-inflammatory cytokine more solidly established. roles IL-6 and IL-10 in the context organ physiology, their possible modulation by aging process, are not satisfactorily understood. purpose this work was to characterize expression different cellular compartments mice, under steady-state stress conditions. former evaluated immunohistochemistry (IHC) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) analyses lysates (LYS) (addressing intracellular compartment), while latter assessed ELISA organ-conditioned media (CM), obtained after 48 hrs culturing potential secretion/diffusion).
