摘要: Abstract Variable inertia vibration absorbers (VIVA) are previously used for the control of single degree freedom (dof) primary systems. The performance such is studied in many investigations. This paper presents dynamic modeling and simulation a proposed modified design VIVA’s two dof Lagrange formulation to obtain its model an analytical form. model, which highly nonlinear, develop computational algorithm study absorber characteristics. programmed simulated Matlab. obtained results numerically verified using SAMS2000 software. effect mass stiffness VIVA on tuning discussed. An optimization developed select best parameters suppression specific system. show good agreement with those similar techniques. In addition, linearized dynamics developed, tested same data nonlinear model. relative deviation between linear models less than 1%, confirms realistic use this experimental testing verification subject another paper.
