摘要: Cavum septi pellucidi (CSP) is a cavity between the two leaflets of septum pellucidum. CSP developmental anomaly, yet pathologic implications, if any, an abnormally large remain unclear. The reported incidence among normal populations varies greatly from 0.15% to 85%. Several studies have suggested that there higher in patients with schizophrenia. We conducted thin-slice magnetic resonance imaging study evaluate prevalence sample 75 controls and 55 patients. There was high small both groups: 58.8% 58.2% patients, suggesting cavum could be considered variant; however, patient group had significantly (20.7%) compared (3%). were all male.
