摘要: Aims Obesity-induced nephropathy is an established clinical entity arising from a “maladaptive” response to lipid accumulation at the nephron level. Bariatric surgery positively affects renal function, reducing or increasing glomerular filtration rate (GFR) in subjects with hyperfiltration and impairment, respectively. The effect of this patients normal estimated GFR (eGFR) less clear.
