摘要: Abstract The Biocoenosis of Well Sorted Fine Sands (WSFS) (SFBC, Sables Fins Bien Calibres in French) is a Mediterranean community very well delimited by bathymetry (2–25 m) and sedimentology (>90% fine sand) occurring zones with relatively strong hydrodynamics. In this study focused on sites located along the Algerian, French, Italian Spanish coasts Western Basin Sea (WBMS) we aim to compare structure, ecological status diversity macrofauna WSFS examine effects recent human pressures state shallow macrobenthic community. We assess functioning these using three categories benthic indices: a) five indices based classification species into groups, AMBI, BO2A, BPOFA, IQ IP, b) ITI index trophic c) Shannon H’ index, Biological Traits Analysis (BTA), which an alternative method relative taxon composition analysis integrative indices. Cluster analyses show that each zone particular taxonomic richness dominant species. seven reveal macrobenthos four coastal good or high Quality Status, except for one location Algerian coast (the Djendjen site) 1997. BTA highlights presence groups species: 1) typical characteristic species; 2) indicator enrichment particles organic matter, 3) coarse sand are accessorily found sand. Finally, naturally subject regular natural physical perturbations resilience after but sensitive changes input matter.
