摘要: In the evaluation of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), medical and behavioral problems related to sleep are important consider. A relationship between ADHD has been acknowledged for some time. Sleep disturbances were among criteria diagnosis in past rating scales included items disturbance (American Psychiatric Association [APA], 1987; Conners, et al. 1998, 1998). While our knowledge about improved recent years, it remains challenging tease apart effect insufficient or poor quality on attention, alertness, learning behavior what might be due a primary ADHD, mood problem (Simonds, 1984). This interface mental health disorder is challenge many clinicians face practice. Medical, health, psychosocial factors can directly affect duration sleep. Poor sleep, turn, have effects daytime functioning health. addition, such direct behavior. Sorting out contributing during comprehensive commonly co-occurring. The purpose this chapter highlight importance including as part assessment disorders because best management individual patient depends accuracy diagnostic evaluation.
