摘要: Sleep patterns in nonmedicated hyperkinetic (n = 11) and normal control male children (8-12 years old) were compared to document possible sleep disturbance children. Electroencephalographic, electro-oculographic, electromyographic, autonomic measures monitored continuously for five consecutive nights. Analysis of pattern variables revealed a significantly longer rapid eye movement onset latency (p less than 0.05) marginally significant greater absolute relative amounts time 0.07) the group controls. No other parameters differentiated groups. It was concluded that baseline tonic do not indicate marked hyperkinesis. The results are discussed within context hypothesized arousal dysfunction underlying this disorder. Key Words: Hyperkinetic children--Hyperkinesis--NREM REM cycles--Spontaneous skin potential responses.
