摘要: An evaluation of the input polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) in Duwamish River, Seattle, Wash., resulting from dredging contaminated sediments is presented. The mean concentrations PCB during monitoring period were 12.8 to 24.5 ng/liter water and 1.03 1.77 microgram/g dry weight suspended particulate matter. These values within ranges normally observed river, suggesting that operations did not induce a significant pulse potential hazard estuary. fractionation matter was determined by computing component concentration ratios, KN(d). quantities indicate an enrichment factor 10(5) ambient water. Based on load normal discharge, into Puget Sound via River estimated be 36 kg/year.
