摘要: The occurrence and distribution of metals (Al, Cd, Cr, Cu, Pb, Zn), organochlorine residues (HCH, DDT metabolites, PCBs) EOC1 (extractable organic bound chlorine) were monitored in 1993 1996 sediment, water fish the catchment area Lake Baiyangdian, China. levels metals, especially Cd Zn, significantly higher sediment than those non‐polluted areas. PCBs chlorinated pesticides constituted only a minor part (< 8.4%) extractable chlorine, indicating presence additional, unknown, residues. Among pesticides, was widely distributed high occurred despite ban its production use 1983. low quotient pp‐DDT/pp‐DDE indicated that input to not recent origin.
